Stars Activate Irbe, Marshall
DALLAS (Reuter) - The Dallas Stars on Wednesday activated
goaltender Arturs Irbe and right wing Grant Marshall from the
injured reserve list.
The 29-year-old Irbe, who signed as a free agent from San
Jose over the summer, is 2-2 with a 3.43 goals-against average
and .885 save percentage in six games this season. He suffered a
strained groin in a 3-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks on Nov. 8.
He was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 13, retroactive to Nov.
11.
The 23-year-old Marshall suffered a strained quadricep
muscle in a 3-2 win over Anaheim on November 16th. He was placed
on injured reserve on Nov. 21, retroactive to the 18. He has
three goals and no assists in 16 games.
