Update schedules vary, depending on the news service. In Eastern Time:
News stories are archived for up to seven days. The archiving process is continuous and occurs after each fresh update of stories. Included is a news search capability which helps you find archived stories quickly and easily.
Send feedback directly to Reuters at: [email protected]. Please be sure to reference the data of the story, the author, and the headlines. This will enable Reuters to pass the story to the appropriate person.
Generally, errors in formatting are the result of an error in the news feed received by Yahoo! These usually resolve themselves. The story with the correct formatting codes is resent with the next update. If an outdated story appears in a news service on Yahoo!, it more than likely means that a story was mistakenly sent through the news feed, or that we are having a problem with our archiving. As with formatting errors, these are fixed automatically. If either formatting errors or outdated stories are persistant, notifications can be submitted to the following email addresses:
All company press releases and news stories available on Yahoo!
originate from other sources. If you are interested in having your
company's press releases show up on Yahoo!, contact
PR Newswire and/or
Business Wire.
For a fee, either of these services will make sure hundreds of news
services are aware of any company announcements.
Yahoo! only has the right to redistribute and post Reuters news
stories on the Yahoo! site. Any redistribution of Reuters news is
