U.S. Robotics Launches Pilot For Mac Users

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - U.S. Robotics is launching its Pilot Macintosh desktop software and connectivity pack, enabling users of the organizer to connect with either Macintosh or Windows computers.

Pilot is a handheld computer designed to work as a companion to a desktop or laptop computer, to help users manage schedules and personal information when they do not have access to their principal computer.

Pilot includes personal information management software such as a date book, address book, to-do list, calculator, and note-taking applications and connectivity software.

The product is priced at $249. U.S. Robotics said Macintosh users had requested connection capabilities, previously available only for Windows users.
