ResQ2000 is Sonata's Year2000 Conversion Service. ResQ2000 methodology is built on the industrial strength foundation of The ResQ2000 Toolkit - a suite of both inhouse and third party tools, a knowledge base gained on several large conversion/maintenance projects and the proven offshore development model.
ResQ2000 methodology integrates the customer's application knowledge and the need for code enhancements into the Year2000 conversion process model. ResQ2000 methodology also deploys robust software change control and management through the project.
In view of the magnitude and intensity of the Year2000 date problem for specific customers, Sonata proposes a pilot project to assess the 'Year2000 Life Cycle' issues of impact analysis, date conversion planning, implementation, and testing. Sonata's methodology deploys this pilot project experience to refine the ResQ2000 Toolkit to maximize returns to the customer.
