The Year 2000 Center is a collaborative program of Recom Technologies, Inc., and the West Virginia High Technology Consortium (WVHTC) Foundation. The Year 2000 Center's mission is to provide Year 2000 awareness, training, analysis, conversion, and testing services to government and commercial organizations.

Solution 2000 Training

At the Year 2000 Center, we offer training and testing services that enables decision makers and Information Technology professionals to better prepare for the Year 2000 date problem. Our Solution 2000 Training Course:

• provides an understanding of the Y2K analysis and conversion issues;

• identifies how to get started;

• helps determine the repair action(s) to use;

• assists in estimating project costs;

• lets you determine what can be done "in-house"

Attending the Solution 2000 Training gives you what you need to prepare your systems for the Year 2000 date change. Students learn an ITAA certified project methodology developed by IBS Conversions, Inc. and complete the 3-day training knowing what needs to be done and who needs to do it. This training turns the potential chaos of a Year 2000 project into a manageable and repeatable process.
