| We are an American software development team exclusively dedicated to writing structured COBOL applications. For over 15 years, we have contributed to a complete line of accounting software which remains possibly the most widely distributed accounting software line in history selling well over 300,000 packages worldwide. These are written in Micro-FocusTM and Ryan McFarlandTM COBOL for the DOS/Networks and UNIX.TM platforms. |
| Why the year 2000? |
| Because of such widespread user base and the devastating effect of Year 2000 non-compliance, we engaged in over 24 months of Research & Development to provide a complete solution to the problem within the COBOL applications arena. In the process, we have achieved a unique understanding of the issues relating to the new millennium. |
| What IS our solution? |

Simply stated, we are making your system rectify it's own deficiencies. In doing so, we eliminate the two principal liabilities of the situation: "high cost" and "little time".
Our principal tool is YEAR2000.EXE©, an intelligent COBOL Analyzer and Converter which expands all dates and related fields automatically, at remarkable speed - in excess of 250 lines of code per second. It does this methodically and accurately, while tagging each line changed and generating a before & after detailed report of all these changes. Accuracy is clearly a central issue in any conversion effort. We are pleased to offer a record 95% accuracy in every benchmark independently tested. That is achieved by following the logic line by line with five separate passes through each program. In fact, YEAR2000.EXE© operates much as a real programmer would - just infinitely faster. To accommodate the multitude of COBOL coding styles and design methodologies, YEAR2000.EXE© is driven by a user definable configuration file which optimizes the process to meet each developer's own unique coding standards. Finally, YEAR2000.EXE© can be run in batch mode on your entire COBOL source library making the bulk of your conversion effort an overnight reality. Simply tell it where your programs are and let it run. You on the other hand, can sleep soundly. Concurrent with source code conversion, we offer an array of data upgrade facilities which are ready to be customized to your system architecture. |

| In the past 4 months, we have successfully produced over 3 million lines of year2000 compliant COBOL code. Added to our data conversion programs, we are pleased to have restored longevity to a user base over 35,000 strong. Clearly, our solution is now proven and tested. |
